If you are looking for a Kichler landscape lighting kit to provide outdoor garden lighting, you will need to check out the Path and Spread models from the Kichler range.
These outdoor path lights give a broad spread of light, usually directed straight down, but there are several models in this range that are more like post lights that give a wider pool of light.
In fact, the Kichler path and spread range now contains over 100 individual lights that come in the normal Kichler selections of finish – either textured black or an architectural bronze.
The low-voltage 12V range contains several LED path lights, in particular the Kichler 15815 is a path light with a side post to give a more controlled directional light and the Kichler 15826 is a center-mounted path light that gives a much bigger light spread. In most cases, there is an equivalent incandescent light in the range (usually with a 3 in the model number instead of the 8 – so, for example, the 15326).
More traditional Kichler landscape lighting solutions also contain a range of 120V lights. This is slightly less comprehensive than the 12V set, with only 15 models in the latest Kichler range and obviously suffers from some of the disadvantages of standard voltage lights examined in the article on using low voltage landscape lights.
